Armored Ashura 2

"Meh..."

submission: Armored Ashura 2
date: December 16, 2009

It was ok but not something I would play again. It would be nice if you had some room to move on the screen instead of having a million bullets on the screen with the baddies coming at you from every angle where no matter where you move you get hit and the don't fire to charge weapons thing has got to go. Toss in a power up that fills up the power bar a little at a time and then press space or something to use it when you really need it. Also the mouse control/fire setup is a bad move. Switch out the mouse for WASD or even arrow key control and use A or S or something to shoot.

Make a few improvments on the controls, the power ups, and the ammount of bullets on the screen and this might become a great game. One more thng--add a health bar..the 3 hit and die thing is really annoying since you get hit 3 times just a few seconds into the game with a million bullets on the screen at once.

Cemetary 2

"REALLY BAD!!!"

submission: Cemetary 2

Usually if I see nothing but low reviews on a game I stay away from it...but this one I decided to give it a go...and now I see where all the 0 star rewiews came from. This game is BEYOND BAD!!! I mean a zombie bird?!? And if that's not bad enough it kills you with 1 hit?!? Also why are the targets so small? I mean if you made the zoms bigger, took out the birds and the 1 hit kills and put in an auto relaod (since every time I died I was trying to click on the ammo pile to reload) and maybe some kind of timer that displayed how much time was left until sunrise the game would be A LOT better

Moonlight Sonata: The Den

"Great Game. But..."

date: December 9, 2009

This was a very good game, I liked the plot the gameplay the useage of "scraps" to upgrade...but I do have a few problems that took a few points off:

1. The weapons seemed to be rather weak...I had found the revolver, the crossbow, the carbine and the sawed off. And all of them were really weak as far as firepower went. When I found the sawed off I was like "Great! Fully upgrade this bad boy and look out Lupains." But I took 3 shots just to bring down a regular wolf. I know you wanted to make it a challenge in the later stages but 3 shotgun blasts to take out a wolf...that's just insane

2. Instead of searching for scraps and weapons have the weapons already on hand but in disrepair and you need the scraps to get them back in working order...the odds of finding a good powerful weapon not very good and having the ability to "buy" better wepons instead of hoping to find one is alot better in my book.

3. Instead of wasting the daylight hours to repair AND search have a reapir function that you can use without eating up time--have the baddies drop scraps as well and you can use the scraps as "money" to repair as well as upgrade. If you had a bad wave and you're near zero on your barricade and you use up say 8 or 9 hours to repair you're not gonna find anything to help you get though the 14 days.

That's about it. I might tweak the aiming a little...it's a little hard to try and move to where a Lupian is to get a good shot if you have 8 of them coming at you at once, if you can just stay in one place and still get kills it'd be a little easier.

Also...in reguard to Frederik77's post that it was "too easy" it sounds like you might have played the game a little but died fairly early on--possibly the 1st or 2nd wave--since you obvoiusly know nothing about the upgrades to the weapons you find which are cruical to kill the baddies in later waves as they get stronger. You must be trying to save face for not doing so well.

°°Haunted Village°°

"I can see a scene in my mind as I listen to this.."

date: October 20, 2009

I'm all alone...the Virus has infected everyone: Men, Women...even Children. No one was spared...except me. My only defense aginst the now midless dead that my friends and neighbors have become is my Dad's Desert Eagle.

I make my way though the empty streets...moving from shadow to shadow; all around me blood and half eaten corpses of those who were spared the Virus only to be eaten alive by the people they once knew.

I round the last corner and I see the object of my search. my dojo. Inside I have swords, staves, spears, throwing stars/knives, and more ammo; I'm down to my last two rounds. If I get get inside I can obtain a few more weapons, reload my gun--as well as take all the ammo I need for any unforseen emergencies--then get the hell out of this God forsaken town.

I run from the shadows...closing the distance to my dojo. Then I hear it...the mindless moaning of the undead. I turn...there are at least 100 of them all looking at me, unearthly hunger in their eyes.

"Food." One of them moans as they begin to shuffle toward me. I take out the nearest 2 with clean shots right between the eyes...now I have a 20 yard dash to my dojo...I have get inside before I become just another half eaten corpse left to rot...

AoMK - The Last Ship

"The Last Good-Bye"

date: August 1, 2009

Merrick Kuei boards the boat; limping, wounded from his hard fought battles. as he reached the deck of the ship every hand aboard salutes him he simply nods and the Captain gives the orders to leave, but before he does Merrick walks to the edge of the ramp he just asdcended and looks down at the ragtag group of 50 or so odd warriors who stood by him of the field.

One, a bronzed-skinned giant of a man that saved his life on more than one ocassion, stands in the middle of the group. His right arm gone, lieing among the boidies on a far away feild.

"I have fought many battles." Merrick begins . "I have faced both men and beasts...I've commaded great armies on both land and sea...but...I have NEVER fought along side a braver company than those of you that stand here today. You saved my life, and the lives on the men and women around you many times. I am forever in your debt. May the Light bless all of you."

He stand at attention and salutes them and they return the salute, no one relaxing his or her pose or arm until the ship disappears into the sunset...

Author's Response:

This is a pretty good story. Almost makes me wish there was a fiction portal here on NG. Now THAT would be an idea. :D This story is remarkably similar to the scene I have in mind for the next track "Farewell at the Shore".

AoMK - Night Before the Battle

"You have a gift"

date: February 23, 2009

Amazing...totally amazing. That's all I can say. the backround drums in the beginning, the guitar, the piano, everything just melds together so well. You have a true gift to be able to compose this kind a music. Keep them coming *salute*
